A little while ago, Chip over at Everybody Skirts announced a new weekly chat for people who are interested in the topic of men in skirts. I haven’t gotten around to announcing it here because I have been sick, but am now better and am starting to work on new posts again.
Here is what Chip wrote about it:
A weekly video call to connect, face to face. Together, we’ll share insights, challenges, and strategies around owning your style. Guest speakers may join us, but most sharing will happen naturally—if and when you feel like it.
Let’s talk skirts, self-expression, and everything that comes with it.
Everybody Skirts
- Who it’s for: Men and anyone exploring style beyond traditional masculine norms
- When: Alternates weekly between Mondays and Wednesdays; drop-in anytime
- How: Online video call, no more than 1 hour, through Facebook’s Messenger app
- Language: English
- Cost: Free
- Host: Chip
For more details about how to sign up, see Chip’s post about it here: https://everybodyskirts.com/blogs/posts/weekly-drop-in-group-underway
Due to being sick, I unfortunately haven’t made it to the chat personally yet. I do plan on participating soon though! I’m looking forward to chatting with you soon!
I’ve already wondered when you’d take notice of Chip’s “weekly drop-in group” or appear there yourself. I’ve been a member of this group from the start, and I’ve participated in 3 of the 5 video calls so far.
It’s quite interesting to discuss topics around wearing skirts or dresses face to face, with sympathetic people. And besides the video calls, there has been a lot of written discussion on the Facebook Messenger group from which the video calls are started, with suggestions, advice, shared photos, …
So a warm recommendation and invitation also from my side to join Chip’s group.
I can imagine it’s quite interesting! I’m looking forward to participating! Chip and I actually discussed the idea a little while ago and so I’ve known about it for a while, but then I got sick and wasn’t able to do much unfortunately.
Thanks for the mention, Alex. I’m glad you’re feeling better and looking forward to having you there!
So far it’s been pretty casual… we often vote on questions to discuss, and anyone who wants will share answers or related stories, strategies, problems, etc., with the odd tangent.
You’re welcome! I’m looking forward to finally being able to participate!
