First are we talking skirts or dresses. Skirts are easier to adapt to a man’s body. Although men tend to wear skirts lower on their frame then women.
The problem of men wearing “dresses” now your trying to make a shoe box look good. While women have an an hourglass shape that dresses can make the look. Men’s rectangular shape is much harder. And women’s dresses do not adapt to Men’s shape.
It also seems to be a question of labeling items when it comes to men’s fashion – many men wear tights comfortly via sports but would never call them leggings (although it is the same, but femal related).
What started me wearing dresses was some comfy looking outfit from A/W 2012 Ann Demeulemeester k. Of course one can try to find such an entremely long sweater or just get what I did – a knitted dress.
