Articles like this are difficult. On the one hand, it’s great that people are exploring this topic, especially on a website dedicated to men’s fashion. On the other hand, saying NO to any of the items on their list is exactly the sort of thing that needs to be done away with. Thanks “Real Men” for allowing me to wear women’s sunglasses. Now I obviously don’t want to be stubborn there, since fashionistas have all the right to speak about what “can a man” – it’s up to you if you listen to them or anyone around you – but for people here who are on the other side of the road and likely different mindset too (not that afraid to try something unusual), I don’t think we need this kind of confirmation, although some observations might make sense – I actually experienced one time someone asking me why I’m wearing women’s sunglasses, but pointing them to “why that girl wear’s men sunglasses, it is like an underwear that makes the difference for you?” can actually convince some people.
I agree that we don’t need anyone to tell us what we can and can’t do. I was glad to find that they addressed the topic, but I didn’t fully agree with their answer.
