This particular article doesn’t have anything to do with skirts specifically, but is certainly relevant when discussing gendered clothes. J.Crew introduced a pink men’s sweater which seems to have kicked up quite a debate with plenty of toxic masculinity.

It must be miserable to be so insecure in your masculinity that you feel threatened by a pink sweater.
