While this post concentrates more on men crossdressing with the intent of going full “en femme”, I would argue it still applies to any man wanting to wear gender-non-conforming clothing to work for the first time. I certainly recognized myself in some of the points raised when I decided to wear a skirt to the office for the first time.

I am not a crossdresser, I’m more fusion dresser, if I am to label myself, and wear skirts, tights and a mix of male and female shoes and boots. Above the waistline, it’s mostly mens clothing, so I’m obviously just a guy in a skirt regarding my presentation, yet I cannot bring myself to step out in public in my skirts. It’s not an internal issue like confidence or personal discomfort, it’s reaction from others that I fear, especially those I know and have known me for years, I think it would shock them to the core, but then again, what if those men I know also wear feminine clothes secretly?

Quiero compartir con ustedes una gran NECESIDAD, que padecen los hombres en lo que tiene que ver con el vestido.
Quizá ustedes puedan atender; y aportar una solución contundente; para mejorar la SALUD; y la CALIDAD DE VIDA DE LAS FAMILIAS.
Como ustedes saben hace menos de 500 años, los hombres, y las mujeres nos vestíamos con Túnicas, y con faldas; (inclusive en Colombia, en el municipio de Paz de Ariporo en el departamento de CASANARE hay una tribu de indígenas que utilizan una falda hecha como en hojas de palma amarga).
Me he dado cuenta que absolutamente; ninguna parte del cuerpo de un varón; se maltrata tanto como los genitales masculinos; la costura central del pantalón llamada TIRO; (o entrepierna), precisamente le llaman tiro; porque todo el tiempo tira; tira por delante; y tira por detrás; obligando a estar sacando el pantalón de entre las NALGAS, y de entre las piernas; dando un masaje no verbal obsceno, vulgar, atrevido, y antihigiénico.
La correa o cinturón; junto con el elástico de los calzoncillos; son un TORNIQUETE; que impide una normal y buena irrigación sanguínea; afectando el buen funcionamiento de:
El Aparato Digestivo
El Sistema Urinario
El Aparato Reproductor; y las otras molestias que produce.
Los calzoncillos; son una FÉRULA; que mantiene los genitales masculinos:
INMOVILIZADOS
MAGULLADOS
MACHACADOS; y
RECOCINADOS; propiciando condiciones ideales para el desarrollo de las llamadas enfermedades modernas de los hombres:
Impotencia; Esterilidad; problemas de la Próstata.
Además; a raíz de la IMPOSICIÓN del uso del pantalón para los hombres; a los varones nos ABUSARON; porque nos OBLIGARON a orinar de pie; lo cual es totalmente ANTINATURAL; e IRACIONAL; pues ningún ser humano se sienta en el sanitario, o retrete; y hace la deposición (defeca); y luego se pone de pie para orinar; como ustedes saben muy bien; los 2 esfínter, se abren al mismo tiempo; o de manera sincrónica; el hombre cuando va a orinar de pie en muchas ocasiones les toca es hacer una ACROBACIA MUSCULAR; para que no vayan a tener un accidente; y además de que se ensucia el BAÑO; dicen los MÉDICOS que se daña la próstata; y lo incómodo y vergonzoso que es hacer las necesidades fisiológicas de pie.
Si se promoviera más el uso de las FALDAS; y los VESTIDOS con Faldas para los caballeros; se mejoraría muchísimo; la Salud; y la Calidad de Vida de las Familias.
En cuanto al Medio Ambiente; y la responsabilidad social; lamentablemente el pantalón no sale muy favorecido; pues su tiempo de vida útil ES FUGAZ; casi siempre lo primero que se le daña a un pantalón es el Zíper, cierre o cremallera; se rasga por El Tiro; se desgasta en las NALGAS; y en la entrepierna; y las botamangas viven arrastradas contra el piso; y la gran cantidad de operaciones que se deben realizar para elaborar un pantalón, no son comparables, con las 2, o 4 operaciones que se deben realizar para confeccionar una falda rotonda, o circular; o la semicircular.
Una falda; (ya sea para el hombre; o para la mujer da igual); sólo tiene 2 inconvenientes; que me parece que es mal diseño, o mala elaboración de la prenda.
Sí la falda es muy corta no cumple su función de vestir,y cubrir; y les obliga a estar haciendo muchas Acrobacias para caminar y para sentarse.
Si la falda es muy ESTRECHA; o muy ANGOSTA; no les deja caminar bien; ni subir las escaleras; entonces les tocaría ANDAR DE RODILLAS; y PIDIENDO AYUDA; pero una falda a la rodilla; y tan ancha como la quiera usar nunca les dará ningún problema; vale la recordar que las faldas; y los vestidos con falda; siempre se deben utilizar con su respectiva ENAGUA; por seguridad, por comodidad, y por higiene.
Las prendas unisex es algo que ha impedido que se generalice el uso de esas prendas tan saludables y cómodas y amigables con el medio ambiente.

Pendiente las diferencias entre el hombre y la mujer
Esta es una muy buena justificación de porque los hombres deben volver a vestirse con faldas; si hay alguna motivación diferente; éso ya es otra cosa.
society judge you on what you wear or the length of your hair but no-one cares if you need an helping hand: they also give you advice about what is good or what is wrong as regard personal appearance with full reasons of their speech…apart from that, I think that a crossdresser is like a black sheep: so the dogs use any form of violence because the shepherd has told them to restore the order and protect the conservative society based on the male power…
I’m gonna weigh in on the “cross dresser” notion and although I speak for myself though I know there are others like me.
I am not a cross dresser. A cross dresser wants to look feminine.
I am not a transvestite. A transvestite wears clothing of the opposite gender for fetish reasons
I am not a drag queen. A drag queen dresses extravagantly as a woman for entertainment.
I am not transgender or gender confused/questioning. I am male, happily and confidently a man.
So what/who am I.
JCNY, myself and a man named Brent have discussed this at the Men’s and Unisex Skirts Forum.
Our style is called freestyle, because we are free to dress as we please. But we also note that dressing in a skirt up’s the stylistic aesthetic. You just look better and therefore take more interest in dressing well.
So here’s what I am (in my opinion which as we all know is subject to criticism):
Elegant masculinity: a freestyle form of male self-presentation that values freedom, poise, and aesthetic intention without abandoning strength or groundedness.
I am also not a crodresser but I agree with you: wearing in a female mode, makes more elegant and that is one of the reason why I am attracted by crossdressing( the other is related with fetish…)…For this I think that men who wear a skirt or a high heels, even crossdress, are not less masculine than those who don’t do that: actually I love women and not men, as regard sexual preferences…
