Helpful Pantyhose Advice
9/4/2012 In the 1980’s, when I was young, women wore pantyhose all the time. These days, in the 2010’s, few women ever wear pantyhose. However, one thing has remained consta…

If you want to keep your tights(pantyhose) up. Then, find a thong with a broad, strong waistband elastic and wear them on top. There won’t be any visible lines, and it will keep them up day after day.

Go seamless. I agree with this blog post except I avoid control top due to one of the best reasons to wear a skirt. Less there. When I found seamless tights from Les Belles or ones truly made for men like Threads Tights For Men, I was elated. And even more comfortable than usual.
What I find amazing these days is the “allowance” or “acceptance” of men wearing footless, athletic tights. Under shorts of course cause the puritanical concern for the bump. These men’s tights are horrid though in terms of comfort. Where I live I see many folks, especially the delivery drivers, clad in tights and shorts. Of late, I’ve noticed their tights seem to be heading more to the more comfortable women’s tights.
In the end, wouldn’t it be best if we just forgot about the non existent gender of clothing? Even for those who believe clothing has a gender, why do all dress and skirt and tights ads start with the word “women’s”???
Ha, Greg!
I have often wondered that myself; why racks of dresses, skirts etc. are labelled “Women’s”
Good article and i agree with everything said. I have been wearing pantyhose and tights for 45 years and my advice is to try on as many different brands as you can afford until you find the brand that fits you perfectly, you will know, and when you do, stick with that brand as brands are very consistent with sizing but there can be massive variations between brands, also don’t rule out support tights, everyone can benefit from them, not just the elderly or those with leg problems.
