I like wearing skirts because I like wearing skirts, not because I want to appear female or emulate women. I think they look better than shorts or pants, which are almost always bunched or wrinkled (especially in Summer) or too loose and baggy; where a skirt hangs freely and moves smoothly. I am bearded and mildly furry on the leg, too – and I’m OK with that. They kind of go together. For me, there is no connection between skirt preference and a more feminine body presentation (women being generally less furry, a distinction often enhanced by shaving legs, etc.). But then, there’s no reason not to shave legs, if that look and feel is preferred. Maybe more so in Winter, to ease putting on tights?
I tried shaving my legs because I wanted to go for a more feminine look when I first started wearing them all the time, but then I decided I didn’t really like it very much. My wife also said she missed my hairy legs, so I stopped shaving them.
Shaved legs are great for tights, but in the winter, I tend to wear cotton or woolen leggings, so leg hair doesn’t show or get in the way. I don’t really wear nylon tights often where the hair either gets matted underneath or sticks out. If I did, I would probably shave them more often though.
I don’t care to shave or wax my legs. Too much trouble and work. I wear skirts as an alternative to shorts in the summer. In cooler winter weather I wear tights or thermal leggings under my skirt or kilt.
That’s exactly the same way I do it!
I’m a GUY in a skirt; not a mannikin. I have a full beard because I’m too lazy to shave everyday, why take on legs or more? People are accustom to seeing men with hairy legs, it is not shocking, if even noticed. When you are a man wearing a skirt– they aren’t looking at your grooming! 🙂
That’s pretty much why I don’t shave my legs either. That and my wife doesn’t like it… 😀
Well, I tend to shave my legs every 2 or 3 weeks, seems my body is not really interested in growing it that much (so what grows here and there looks more like ‘dill’ than actual hair), so it’s not that time consuming, but recently I’ve been picking thigh highs to have ‘less work to do’ and focus mainly on over-the-knee hair. This, combined with rather long curly head hair might make me look more girlish-looking (and at the same time, I haven’t seen any girl wearing such in last weeks or months – we are still in summer time). I have to admit though that putting tights onto smoothly shaved legs is an oddly satisfying feeling that I recommend every male to experience.
That is really nice! I shaved my legs once and the feeling of putting tights over shaved legs is amazing. Shaved legs was one thing my wife didn’t like though, plus I grow a lot of dark hair which means it would probably be a daily thing to keep my legs shaved.
Vor vielen Jahren war ich passionierter Radsportler. Für Radsportler ist es völlig normal, sich die Beine zu rasieren. Das habe ich auch bis heute beibehalten, so dass meine Beine also immer rasiert sind, wenn ich Röcke und Strumpfhosen trage.
Sehr schön! Sport ist eine sehr gute “Ausrede”, sich die Beine zu rasieren. Ich kannte auch einen passionierten Schwimmer, der sich auch die Beine rasiert hat. 🙂
