While hosiery is only really mentioned in passing on this blog, most men who wear skirts seem to also wear hosiery with them. They really do go hand-in-hand.
This video is an interesting talk about the stigma with men wearing hosiery. Many of the points brought up could also easily be applied to other typically “feminine” clothing such as skirts and heels.
The video is by Soni Panda who also did an interview with Markus Muth. I highly recommend checking both videos out!

I do love her accent. It makes it possible to enjoy the one or two minutes of actual content in her ten minute video.
She really does have a nice accent 🙂
I love wearing Berkshire Lace Top Stockings and a 6 strap Rago Garter Belt over my smooth shaved legs. My wife always compliments me on how nice my legs look.
I love my Svenjoyment Suspender Belts I have 4 and 6 strap ones and they are made for men,I too team them up with lace top stockings and I love having smooth shaved legs.I think my wife tolerates my skirts, stockings and heels rather than approving but hopefully she will come round to enjoying them as much as I do.Life is too short to wear boring clothes the ladies have all the fun.
To understand the stigma of hosiery with men, you have go back to the 1960’s when women swapped stockings for tights with the arrival of the mini skirt/dress. With more of the female leg in nylon on show, this look sexualised tights and placed them firmly in the ultra feminine, making it extremely difficult for men to wear them as well and hence the stigma that exists even today. However, I think things are changing now. Men who wear tights are figuring out how to style them to get a masculine look with shorts or skirts and footwear.
